June 1 was a unique opportunity to discover and strengthen citizen-led projects resulting from participatory initiatives related to the PDCom. You had the chance to ask any questions you had about the PDCom at the booth in front of La Combe during the spring market. You also had the chance to learn about citizen initiatives through four guided walking tours and share your thoughts on these projects. Feedback from residents, along with the initiatives themselves, was presented to you. The opinions and comments collected on-site through a survey helped prioritize the locations, needs, and urgent issues to be addressed in the PDCom, thereby reinforcing the ideas generated during the workshops with residents. You also had the opportunity to hear a recap of the participatory assessment “Imagining the City of Tomorrow” through the voices of eight residents engaged in discussions about Nyon’s future. This performance, led since February by Joëlle Fontannaz, gave voice to the ideas, concerns, hopes, and fears that emerged from the participants’ reflections.
