Train Station - Track 4
Inaugurated in the summer of 2019, Voie 4 is a welcoming deck featuring terraces and greenery, located southwest of the Nyon train station square. This temporary space was conceived as a “usage laboratory”—a full-scale model—that allows people to envision what the final station platform will look like.

The project to transform the station square is part of the “Cœur de ville” action plan led by the Municipality. Ultimately, the entire station area is set to become a welcoming and attractive public space. It will enable efficient multimodal transportation, with a strong emphasis on sustainable transportation options.
Track 4 foreshadows the station’s transformation. While discussions to define its future layout are underway, the City has chosen to act immediately to offer residents a preview of the future of this iconic city landmark.
The Voie 4 deck was inaugurated with this goal in mind in June 2019. It is a user laboratory—a full-scale model—that allows the public to “walk through” and test potential design options for the future station. Since its completion, several surveys have been conducted to gather feedback from users and inform the City’s planning for the future of this area.
