Nyon’s participatory initiatives aim to envision a new way of designing the city, with and for the community. The City’s goal is to make decisions as close as possible to the users and to enable them to take part in the developments that will shape the city over the long term. With this participatory platform, the City of Nyon aims to improve access to participatory processes for as many residents as possible. This allows citizens to more easily access information about the processes that interest them, making these processes more inclusive.

Digitizing participatory processes involves expanding the use of digital tools and technologies to facilitate and encourage citizen participation in public decision-making and governance processes in new ways. In short, the digitization of these processes aims to modernize them, making them more inclusive and interactive, while leveraging the benefits of technology.

Finally, this tool also enables real-time tracking of proposals and results, providing regular updates on the status of projects led by the City of Nyon, thereby making the processes more transparent for everyone.
