At the second meeting on January 27, 2024, the goal was to explore the ideas and locations identified on November 18, as well as several scenarios for public spaces and micro-hubs from the PDCom study. Thus, in the morning, 19 locations were specified using project sheets and reference images to propose atmospheres, intended uses, and layout designs. In the afternoon, the work continued along two tracks: one focused on examining neighborhood hub scenarios (micro-hubs) to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the proposed sites, and the other on exploring ways to make the city more playful overall, to make it a more pleasant and attractive place to live day to day. These findings were once again presented to the project contractors and the Nyon city administration on February 7, and the project proposals will be finalized and reviewed to allow the work to continue, notably on March 23. The ultimate goal of this experiment in the city of tomorrow is to develop several project proposals and implement the first one in 2024.
