The day began with a group walk around the Levratte neighborhood. Starting from the community center, the route followed the Cossy River upstream toward the northern outskirts of the town, then crossed the Cossy neighborhood and Mangette Park, finally returning to the neighborhood from the east. Throughout the walk, residents noted the new urban developments, which are often low-density and consume a great deal of land area.
The collective writing workshop takes place at the Levratte neighborhood center. Initially, residents of Nyon focus in particular on the city’s interstitial spaces and their potential transformations. Next, concrete project proposals are formulated, such as:
river restoration
a new beach
another shopping center in the north
a space dedicated to teenagers

Excerpts
Between Les Portes de Nyon and La Combe, we need another shopping center—but one that’s accessible to everyone. That would reduce the need to drive.
You mention green spaces—there are plenty of them, but it never feels like a park
We need a public beach—big and free—like the one in Geneva.
As it stands, this is outrageous! (The North-South divide)
