16: This time, the group walk started at the Tattes d’Oie community center and passed through the Marens stadium and the Chemin de Bonmont, then continued on to the Nyon hospital, the train station, and the Route de Divonne, ending in the Saules neighborhood. This walk and the writing workshop that followed provided an opportunity for discussion:
on the diversity of city neighborhood landscapes
on the role of young people in Nyon
on the city’s potential to support the energy transition
on the value of land and the various forms of mobility needed to make the city accessible to everyone

This land is too important to let it be overbuilt with concrete. I’m not against change—the city has to grow, after all—but we could at least preserve the soil and the large trees that take so long to grow.
I’d like a city that recycles its water, with cisterns that allow residents to take care of their green spaces. I’d like to be happy when it rains!
I want to get involved in my neighborhood because I care deeply about it.
I live 500 meters away, on Chemin de la Redoute.
—Do you like it?
—Yes, I love it. They’re ugly but tall towers. It’s incredible to live there. They’re the first buildings in Nyon. My place is old, but it has an incredible view!
