Nighttime Exploratory Walk

In October 2019, the City of Nyon invited residents to take part in a nighttime walk through the city to gather impressions and observations about public lighting. This data was used to inform the creation of the municipal lighting plan.

A lighting plan is a planning tool that defines guidelines for public lighting. Its primary goal is to reduce light pollution.

The lighting plan was unanimously adopted by the Municipal Council at its meeting on February 1, 2021.
